Hello, I would like to consult with you on how to proceed further. A few days ago I wrote to you in "patient experiences" that I am trying treatment without ATB and after 5 days of streptokill application it seems to be slowly improving. At the same time, I apply it in the nose (due to the current inflammation of the sinuses). Slowly everything is getting better and the tonsils have been pain free for several days now. That's why I already applied streptokill only 3 times a day. After 3 days of this frequency of application, white spots and cutting pain appeared again on one side - not directly on the tonsil, but on the "arch" in front of the tonsils. I immediately started applying Streptokill after half an hour, the application burned again, redness also appeared and everything became more swollen. How should I proceed so that my tonsils are completely healed and I don't have constant problems coming back? I note that this is the second angina this year - one treated with ATB and the other is the current one, with which I have been at home for 10 days. Thank you for answer. Iva from Brno
Hello, Ivo, the experiences of Streptokill users show that, especially for tonsils affected by repeated and extensive infections, it is necessary to apply frequently (if Streptokill still "burns" a lot, then just 1-2 sprays every 30 min., except when you are sleeping) up to until you feel completely healthy. Subsequently, during the recovery period (when streptokill no longer "burns"), you can reduce the dosage to 2-3 times a day, and only after 2-3 weeks, when you are in 100% physical condition, can you stop Streptokill completely, but still carry it with you. Another option is, of course, to reach for ATB again, but unfortunately you have to make the decision which treatment method you choose yourself. If your angina has already returned after ATB, then there is a high probability of a "vicious circle", where by using ATB you weaken your own immunity, angina will soon return again, etc. From the experience of Streptokill users, it follows that when managed without ATB, angina returns in patients, who have experienced several anginas in a short time, after some time also quite likely, but when Streptokill is used again and in time, this repeated angina is already significantly weaker, shorter and often also the last one they experienced. I wish you a speedy recovery and we will be very happy if you let us know how you managed your angina, Pavel Soukup, STREPTOkill.cz
